our works travel: “Matisse – Invitation to the Voyage”. IN BASEL

Five artworks from the Nice Matisse Museum are currently on show in Basel as part of the exhibition “Matisse – Invitation to the Voyage”!

Committed to its public service missions, the Nice Matisse Museum responds to loan requests for exhibitions in France and abroad, and is currently contributing to several ambitious projects, including that of the Fondation Beyeler.

From 22 September 2024 to 26 January 2025, the Fondation Beyeler presents “Matisse – Invitation to the Voyage”, the first retrospective devoted to Henri Matisse in Switzerland and the German-speaking world since two decades.
